This palace is closed on Mondays. In order to get there, you have to go to Anguk Station ( (Seoul Subway Line 3), go out exit 3 and then walk straight for 5 minutes. It's open from 9 in the morning until 6 in the evening, however, the last tickets are sold at 5, which is understandable since you need at least an hour to visit the whole place.
It's important to take into account that entry to the palace is only permitted with a guided tour, check the official website for more information and to book a ticket for the Secret Garden. As I mentioned in a previous post the cheapest and most convenient way to visit all the palaces in Seoul is to buy a combination ticket for all of them.
Don't forget to wear comfortable shoes and to take an umbrella for both the rain and the sun.
