Tokyo Hearts by Renae Lucas-Hall

Tokyo Hearts I feel I cannot give an unbiased opinion about this book just because I love Tokyo and whenever I read a novel about that city I usually like it.
What I can honestly say is that as far as I know, the author describes really well the lifestyle of young people in Tokyo. She also writes in a style that IMHO reminds me of the way some Japanese writers use, I mean: the novel is slow-paced, with detailed descriptions of the character's inner feelings. Those characters behave the way young Japanese people usually do. IMHO (again) they try to maintain the old ways (respect, obligation and tradition ) but at the same time, they are attracted to more modern lifestyles.

I recommend it to readers who cannot wait to visit Japan for the first time or want to go back again and again.
