This is my first book by this author and although I thought it was very well written , the story seemed a bit depressing to me. The fact that the book takes place in the beautiful island of Mallorca makes it less sad but the truth is that this family of vacationers are going through a very rough patch .I felt sorry for all of them and disliked them at the same time .
If you are willing to read about a not so perfect family and their ups and downs ,this may be the book for you but if you are visiting the island,this novel may get you down a bit.
