Mirror Me by Rachel Sanderson: opinion.

A very entertaining novel that would make a fantastic film set in Australia. I love reading about that country and although I 've never been there, the author makes you feel you are in Derrington. I would recommend it to older YA who are not home alone in the middle of nowhere.

Even if you don't speak Spanish, his videos are worth watching. He is currently doing a series on Mexico, his home country. This video has a beautiful message about fighting for what you want and protecting nature.

Este es un libro como la vida misma, lleno de amor y de odio, de esperanza y de muerte. Los diálogos absurdos se mezclan con verdades como puños y no se puede hacer otra cosa excepto seguir leyendo. Joel Dicker atrapa una vez más a los lectores que están más interesados en el desarrollo que en el desenlace, con una novela de contrastes que a veces desconcierta. El lector descubre la verdadera realidad de los habitantes de la aparentemente tranquila ciudad de Orphea. Los personajes de esta novela y sus historias son complejos, algunos odiosos y otros llenos de virtudes, pero todos cobran sentido en la intricada trama de La Desaparición de Stephanie Mailer.

Lo recomiendo sin duda a cualquier adulto que se considere lector. El estilo de Joel Dicker es muy personal y puede gustar o no, pero desde luego hay que probarlo.

You Were Made for This by Michelle Sacks

I was deceived by the blurb and thought it was a novel about people. Well, it's a book about monsters and the horrendous crimes they commit. It will make you read fast, hold your breath and pray that nothing bad happens but to no avail because the author has done a great job depicting pure evil in disguise.
There were some pages with vivid descriptions I just couldn't read and it made me wonder what happens behind the closed doors of the houses of some apparently perfect families. It took me several days to get rid of this feeling of restlessness.
If you want to read a true horror story, this is the one.
