Infinityglass by Myra McEntire: opinion.

Probably the best book of the saga. The characters are really witty and the plot more interesting than ever. I would give it three and a half stars if it was possible.

I have wanted to write this post for a long time  since the Petronas Towers are one on my favourite  attractions . I already posted some pictures of the towers at night here and now I am showing some photographs taken during the day.


From the shopping district of  Bukit Bintang , next to the Pavilion Shopping Centre you can walk all the way to the wonderful Petronas Towers in very little time, it is a bit more than a kilometre, and avoid traffic jams. The pedestrian walkway has several exits and entrances, it ends at the Convention Centre and you just have to go up a flight of stairs to the park  in front of the Towers.

I love going for a walk in the park.

The surrounding buildings are also impressive.

The pool is usally full of children playing.

The sculptures on the lake are also a must-see.

 You can also see the top of the Menara from here.

Although the fountain is much more beautiful at night , it is also nice during the day.

If you go around the towers you can see them much closer.

Timepiece my Myra McEntire: opinon

This time the story is from Kaleb's point of view, what makes the novel interesting and slightly different from the first one. I liked the romantic part as well and I found the plot engaging.

Hourglass by Myra McEntire: opinion.

At the beginning it seemed a very easy read with not much depth and quick romance but then the plot got much better . Some of the characters may be too perfect to be true but I still found them likeable  ( I was in a good mood , I guess). All in all quite entertaining.

Rosemary's Café in Guilin, China

If you want to meet the expat community in Guilin, Rosemary's Café is the place to go. If you are fed up with Chinese dishes and want to go back to food you know, you will find many of your favourite dishes here. The atmosphere is good and the food good enough.

Take into account that the place is small , it is really close to the pedestrian street and therefore it is usually crowded.

Sunomono Japanese Cucumber Salad : my own recipe.

Inspired by this  recipe and willing to taste again this wonderful cucumber salad that I had had  several times while I was on holiday in Asia, I finally made an attempt at it.

Ingredients for one hungry person:

1 carrot
1 cucumber
1 teaspoon of sesame seeds
1 teaspoon of sugar
1/4 teaspoon of soya sauce
1/4 teaspoon of salt.
3 tablespoons of rice vinegar

First of all I spiralized the cucumber, salted it and left in in a bowl for 5 minutes. Then I squeezed the water.

Then I spiralized the carrot and mixed the rest of the ingredients in a bowl. Then added the sauce to the vegetables and  enjoyed a healthy salad.
